This red bump -can- be Herpes.  It can also be a million other things.  Your best bet is to get a blood test (specifically for herpes, and specifically for your blood type) and to see a doctor for an informed opinion.

If you've had sex with someone and have any reason whatsoever to think it -might- be an STD, you should just get tested for everything, just to be sure.  DON'T JUST ASSUME THAT IT'S SOMETHING MINOR.  I did that for years, only to find out that I had herpes.  I thought it was a rash or jock itch that I'd occasionally get.  Living with it is hard enough.  Knowing you may have spread it is worse.
