Some people do exeperience different results with antivirals. For some Valtrex appears to work fabulously and for others it does not appear to help, and yet a similar antiviral will prove more effective for them.   Consult with your doctor about trying a different antiviral or changing the dosage.   Also, many people find it helpful to identify what their personal triggers are - some people find stress is a major trigger, for others it can be particular foods.   And also remember that with time, for most people, symptom frequency and severity will naturally decrease.   Jeannie May Herpes Awareness Campaigner & Peer Support Provider www.livingsphere.com
