if both people have herpes, (2 diff types) and have oral sex will it bring more frequent outbreaks?

i was just diagnosed with genital herpes 3 months ago and have not had an outbreak since the initial one..my boyfriend has oral herpes but is a-symptomatic. we're wondering if it is unsafe or if there is a high risk in performing on each other being that both parties are already infected.
