Q: I recently found out that I have genital herpes.

I recently found out that I have genital herpes. I first thought 10 years ago was a pimple. I just had an "outbreak" (I guess, I "picked" the pimple and it opened up) and found out that I had herpes. I just got married to an amazing man a month before I found out which is about a month ago. We are madly in love with each other and I'm scared about it and we are trying for our first child. At the moment we are stationed at different bases until June. How do I tell him without him thinking that I "kept" this from him? I found out by getting a swab test done to the infected area.

Well tell him you just have found out not to long ago and not to be mad about it. Because you made some mistakes back in the day and you wish you could go back but you cant and you are really sorry for not telling him any sooner... But quick question how many outbreaks have you had and has he seen any of them?
