tiny single pimple like bump in the vaginal area

Occassionally I get a tiny, pimple like bump somewhere in my vaginal area that is sore and sensitive. It is currently on the edge of my (urethra?). There is never more than one, and it is never hard or crusty and goes away within a few days. Is it possibly herpes or what are...
