my ex cheated on me and gave me herpes and im devastated. ive been depressed for 4 years. I can not get over it. Then I meet this amazing guy and i wanted to tell him but i was scared. I finally got the courage to tell him and he said he liked me so much he didn't care. Recently he told me it freaks him out. He said he wants to perform oral sex on me but he can't. I am always so nervous he is going to tell me I gave it to him. We use a condom EVERY time. Does valtrex really help the prevention of herpes and will he contract it from oral sex?

Well Valtrex does work, but you need to be really careful with it. It is a really strong pill that I ended up getting sick, and then I got a really bad allergic reaction to it. And yes your guy can get herpes in his mouth if he performs oral sex. Even though you may not have an outbreak you still may be shedding. What I would recommend is buying saran wrap and placing it on your vagina. That's only if he's really desperate on going down on you. I tried it with my fiance and it feels like the real thing. Well I hope that helped a little.
