Q: Hey im 19 and i just found out that i have HSV-1 i dont even know where to start with questions im scared for so many reason and i have a 1 year old son what are my limits with everything!
Since HSV-1 is the cold sore virus, you could have had it your whole life and not have know. My dad has had cold sores since he was a kid, and he never gave it to me or any of my siblings by kissing us. If you ever have a cold sore, I wouldn't kiss your son until it goes away. But, don't be afraid to kiss him.
