I had outbreaks 4 to 5 times. After the last one got cured, I was advised to take Aciclovir on a long term basis as a suppressive therapy. Will it have any side effects on my body? I am not getting any symptoms of common side effects like nausea, vomitting, etc. My age is 55 years.
