"safe" to give and receive oral sex with a girl who has HSV2?

This quote from Charlotte Grayson, M.D. has me thinking... "it is almost unheard of to see HSV2 (the virus that causes genital herpes) cause cold sores! No one knows why. " Does that mean it's "safe" to give and receive oral sex with a girl who has HSV2?

Absolutely not. HSV2 can certainly be transferred from genitalia to face, mouth, tongue and throat. Please educate yourself.

Its not safe to give a girl oral sex if she has type 2 on her genitals. If she just gets done with an outbreak & then u wait a week then u may give it a try. Its more possible of not to spread it at that time. Be careful so u dont get it though if u catch it u will have a nasty outbreak.
