Q: Ihave been taking acyclovir 200mg for 1 amonth.Suddenly I feel very weak and dizzy all the time. Can I stop it? A Kd
You can stop. You may have more outbreaks but you are only taking an antiviral drug to reduce the frequency of shedding. It reduces the risk somewhat when used with a condom (doesn't eliminate it) with having sex with an unifected partner.
