How long could he have had it before I had my first breakout? Does this mean he cheated on me? I'm justtrying to get myself a timeline. Can A doctor tell you who had it first? I just want to b ready cause he gonna blame me and it isn't me for sure

Well, if you talk with your Dr. they will tell you that you (or your husband) may have had this virus for YEARS and it lay dormant. So even if your husband did give you herpes it does not mean that he has cheated, it could simply mean that he had the virus since before you and him and he may not have known, then he had an outbreak (that he may not have known was an outbreak) and you contracted the virus. It really is as simple as that. But please believe that I know about your husband wanting to blame you. Men seem to be preprogrammed to be less understanding. I got mine from my boyfriend I even believe that we were dating for 9 months and were sexually active the WHOLE time before I got them. I think he was having an outbreak that he did not recognize as an outbreak (because he was complaining about a rash a week before my syptoms began) and we were intimate. I hope this helps you out.
