I had unprotected sex in November. 2 weeks later i noticed heavier discolored discharge, I didnt think much of it cuz my period was due and the discharge wasnt smelly or anything. The 3rd week it started burning there is some itchiness as well and I noticed 2 bumps in perenium area no pain when urinating, fever or swollen lymps...went to the dr immediately the next day dr. thinks it herpes but not sure so he swabbed for testing put me on valrex in the meantime. its been a week and the bumps are gone but the burning comes and goes is this consistent with herpes symptoms even while on valrex? Could it be i have something other than herpes? my results are in another week
