go on postivesingles.com. This is an online community where you'll find people who have hsv1, hsv2, whatever ails you. So how do you know you have herpes btw? Herpes is spread by skin to skin contact that's why it's so easy to pass. It's all a chance! That's why they say abstinence is the number one way to prevent stds. I think they're doing a poor job of explaining stds in highschool....well as far as this 25 year old girl is concerned. I just now learned about herpes and it's craazy how 50% of our generation will have genital herpes by age 50 so don't worry you're definitely not alone. 90% of people don't even know they have it because they don't have symptoms. Good luck girl and like I said ....time will heal this and you will be wanted, you just can't screw around like many people still can because they are carefree they haven't had the wake up call you have. Look at it like that. When you are with someone I bet you are going to be looking for real love this time. Be strong. Take care of yourself. Keep your immune system good. Drink green tea, apply hydrocortisone to the skin that itches, take aleve as an anti inflammatory. ok hope that helps.
i know you feel really alone-but you're not. when i found out that i had herpes, i was devasted, i didn't think anyone was going to want me. && to tell you the truth if a guy turns his head from you because you have herpes he didn't really like you in a first place. so many people are ignorant to what herpes is. it is pretty much like someone have a coldsore on there mouth, but it is just in a different place. if you kiss someone with a cold sore you have herpes simplex one && if someone gives a guy oral sex and has a cold sore on there mouth they can give him herpes simplex two. your first outbreak is the worse, && you may not even notice your second one. but if you do have one, it won't be as bad at your first. herpes isn't has bad as people make it out to be, they think std && run. once you are educated enough on it, you can have a sex life && everything just gotta be safe. your not alone. keep your head up.
