Q: Can herpes be "manually" transmitted.

I am a gay male.  During a recent encounter another male whose herpes status is unknown took his hand from himself and for a short period (a minute at most) began to use it on me.  There was never any genital to genital touching, however his hand was used on both of ours.  Can herpes, or for that matter any STD be transmitted this way?

Herpes is a strange disease.  The person who gave it to me had no outward visiable signs I was not even aware he had it.  I happen to be on my period so the sperm went in with my blood then I caught herpes 2.  So I would do anything with out soap and water or condoms it is very contagous exspecial is it ins up in your blood like it did me.
