Q: Could my positive genital herpes diagnosis be true? I have a history of HSV-1...

I recently was tested "For good measure" for everything.. Herpes, HIV, everything... Since shildhood I have alwasy gotten fever blisters on my lips... at the worst lasting a week tops.. and usually only when I ate heavily acidic foods, or was under heavy stress. During my last visit for the testing I was under a great deal of stress from work and I had a cold sore on my top lip, I let my doctor know and procceded to tell me that since I do get cold sores my herpes test would come up positive for simplex 1... I just received a phone call from my doctors offcie this morning telling me that not only was simplex 1 positive, but so was simplex 2??? I am sexually active, however not promiscious, and I-- Nor my partner have ever had a single symptom? Someone please give some advice...

Could any of this have anything to do with the Gardisil shot??

Yes, it is possiable. To make sure, i suggest you can check with the online STD counselor. I know there is a such people on a STD site" herpesLoving.com". My friend told me he is online for only 4 hours everyday. Many users contact him for their STD condition
