Q: if you have a cold sore an it has completely healed can you still transmit herpes ?

Thank you for posting this question. First, it is important to know that a cold sore is different than genital herpes. Herpes Simplex Virus-1 (HSV1) is a cold sore and Herpes Simplex Virus-2 (HSV2) is genital. Check out this post about the differences in HSV1 and HSV2 and trasmission.
