When performing oral sex, if I am not infected with anything, is there herpes cannot transmit?

OKAY, for real phrasing now, I do not have anything currently. I was performing oral sex on my partner the other day, who is infected with HPV and I do not understand the difference, if there is one, between HSV and HPV. The reason why I did so without a condom is because he claimed what he it not...
