After battling recurrent yeast infections and having an affair I went to the Dr, was given a bloodtest and here I am. My husband of 21 years has been extremely supportive and understanding. He does not want to be tested says it doesn't matter. I take generic Valtrex 2x daily. When we are intimate we make sure we aren't itchy or have ANY type of pimple or rash. I do wash after sex,however my vaginal area almost feels like I am almost ready to get a yeast infection. Do HSV patients more likely get yeast infections? Does every little pimple on the thigh or buttocks mean I am having a breakout? Thanks for your help.
