Q: Is it possible to have HSV 2 for 8 years with no symptoms? Can you have unprotected sex without it transferring?

I was just given blood test results that give me a >5.00 for HSV 2 the results say to get tested again in 4 to 6 weeks to see if there is a negative. Is it possible with being pregnant I dont really have it...My husband and I have been married for 5 yrs and together for 8 and not with any other partners.
