They have cures for so many other things why is it so hard to get a cure for this disease?

FROM WHAT IVE LEARNED THE VIRUS LIVES IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM RIGHT... SO IT LIVES NEXT TO THE DNA IN THE CELLS AND TO GET RID OF THE VIRUS THEY WOULD HAVE TO KILL THE CELLS WHICH ISNT GOOD SO THATS WHY ITS SO HARD TO FIND A CURE THAT WILL GET RID OF THE HERPES BUT NOT KILL THE ACTUAL CELL. IM NOT A NURSE BUT I HAVE GH AND I DO A LOT OF RESEARCH.
