I am thinking about beginning a relationship with a man who has informed me that he has herpes. The facts as I know them are these; he was diagnosed a little over a year ago, he has been on Valtrex since being diagnosed and had his last outbreak over 6 months ago. I really care for him but I am terrified of becoming infected. Before i throw away a good thing out of fear, I would like more information.
