its been 5 days after being treated for gonorrhea and the symptoms are still there was the doxycycline and ciprofloxacin not strong to get rid of it?

the fact that your doctor gave you cipro and doxycycline tells me you were probably not cultured for gonorrhea - he treated you empirically for gonorrhea and chlamydia (which is far more prevalent these days). That being said - if you do have gonorrhea it could be "resistant." Go back - ask for an actual culture and please hold off on sex - even with a condom - till you know what is being treated and treatment successfully eradicates the STD.
