If i have genital herpes and I perform oral sex on someone, can that person contract genital herpes even if I do not have a sore in my mouth. I have had cold sores in my past as well. But how do I know if i have HSV-2 in my mouth, is there a test for that.

yes there is a test to see if u have HSV-2. Yes the person u preform oral sex on can get the herpes virus. I got oral head from a good friend and she never told me she had Herpes in her mouth. I soon found Blisters on my scrotum so i need to see if it is herpes.
