Q: Can I Catch Herpes From Warts on my finger?

I have a wart on the edge of my finger and before I knew it was actually a wart I would bite at the end of it to try and get rid of it.

And now I've read somewhere that you can get herpes from warts so I'm just wondering because I have some large spots around my mouth which I can't determine are spots if I'm constantly thinking I might have herpes

If you could help, thanks.

The most common kinds of warts are viral warts though I'm not sure that they are cause by HSV1 or the "cold sore' virus.  If in doubt, check it out is my motto so a quick doctor visit can get you a diagnosis and confirm or disprove your theory.
