Q: I have just got dignosed with genital herpes at the age of 22

and it was a shock and my fiance dnt have it and he wants to have kids is there a way we can have sex and conceive and me not pass it to him?? I am really wanting this too but it is all so new to me. would i hve to go on meds all the time or could i do the hole in the tip of the condom thing so the sperm still going in?? please let me know some answers. Thanks

Well I have done a lot of reaserch on this. People can get herpes with or without a condom. Meds only help prevent breakouts, but even if you don't show any symptoms you can still be shedding so you can still give herpes to your partner. I don't know if you know this, but if you do get pregnant and are ready to give birth your doctor has to check for an outbreak. If he sees something wrong down there then you have to get a sea seaction so your baby won't get herpes. I hope that helped a little.
