Q: how bad is it to cover A herpes Hsv-1 blister on the lip with a band aid for the duration of my work

this is my first outbreak so i was curious on the severity of putting band aid on for a few hours

Don't think it will do you any harm - you might just look a bit strange! You can buy special plasters for oral herpes which help to reduce the time the sores take to heal. In the UK they are called Compeed Cold Sore Patches. I'm sure something similar is available in the US.
