how can i have herpes..please help..answer soon
how can i have herpes?
I am so confused. I have had a staph infection in my ears for months now when i developed a rash on the outer of my vagina, A small spot of five blisters with clear fluid, the area was swollen and red, they then scabbed over, but there was never an "ulcer" or circular "cold soar" spot. the area has jagged edges and wasn't itchy, was a little soar. no discharge at all. they are almost healed after six days.
anyway when it was still blisters I brook down and went to emerg and the doctor said it was herpes. dose this really sound like herpes?
They took blood and said i would know in seven days. after a very long talk with my husband and a lot of crying we are still trying to figure it all out. Where can I get herpes? My husband and i have been together for four years, we are pathetically happy, open and honest, and neither has cheated. Neither has had a cold soar of any kind. I understand it can lay dormant for a while but my relationship before him was four years and there were no signs then. What is the likleyhood of having it four ten years and it just "pooping" up now. If i am a "carrier" would my husband not have caught it by now? and if he was the carrier would i not have shown before now? I'm sssoo confused about how i could have gotten this.
The doctor said i may have touched my mouth and spread a cold soar (which i never had) or touched someone elses hand who had it and got it that way. Is it really possible to get herpes that way? how worried should i be? please answer soon.
It is possible you spread HSV! to that area. The test should tell you if it is HSV1 or 2. If its HSV2 then your husband could be a carrier from years ago and it can finally express itself now. Or you could have had it from prior sexual contact (yrs ago) and finally be expressing it now due to stress or another ailment. And typically if you are the carrier you may have given it to your husband (or he to you) with no physical symptoms to identify it.
