my husband scrotum gets swollen soon after sex and woud have a crack along the penis. why?

my husband would have a swollen foreskin soon after having sex and would disappear after 10hrs. there would be a crack along the penis and it heel after 1.5days. no pain when urinating, the swell again is not painfull, the swell does not contain fluids and no discharge from the penis only that the foreskin would appear as if burnt by fire when the sweling is over. thus the skin will not be smooth as usuall.
