Hi.. I am 16 years old(girl virgin) and recently i find it painful and sometimes swelling around that area, but it just went away and come back sometimes...Recently i found out that my dad might have been cheating on my mom before i was born... Is is possible that i have herpes and is it possible that i was born with it?

Hey girl best thing to do is ask a doctor or your mom.. There are so many complications that can happen with 'that area' It is possible if maybe your mom didnt know she had herpes and gave birth to you while having an outbreak, but I am no doctor and wouldn't count on that explanation. Another thing to consider is if you've had oral sex.. Talk to your mom, doctor or a planned parenthood agency if the first two aren't an option. Its the best way to get the answer your lookin for
