Q: i have one sore on my scrotum, I have not had sex before . ive had oral once .

I am 22, i have never had sex, and ive only had oral once. a few days ago i found a small bump a little smaller than a dime on my scrotum, right under my penis. its round red and looks like it has dried skin in the middle. any idea what could be wrong, i dont know how it could be an std, my last sexual contact was 2 years ago, and that was only oral.

I'm sorry that you got such a rude response to what appears to be a serious question on your part.  There's nothing in your post that leads me to believe that you are lying, and I don't see what could be wierd about being a virgin! There's lots of good reasons that people wait to engage in sexual activity.

I'm a Psychologist and not a Physician, so I can't give you medical advice, but I can direct you to some pertinent information.  You could start by reading Dr. Grayson's post: Genital Herpes from Oral Sex? and then her post entitled: The truth about HSV1, HSV2 and Oral Sex.

I do agree that it is a good idea for you to seek a medical exam/testing.  I'd recommend that you go as soon as possible, while you have the bump.

Best Wishes,
