Q: I have HSV2 can I give it to my partner by performing oral sex. He is not positive.

My partner has no std's.  I have HSV-2 genital.  If I perform oral sex on him, can I transmit the virus to him?  Can I transfer it to him by kissing him?

Experts say that mucous tissue transfers to muccous tissue , so yes, it can be transferred that way if you have an active viral titer at the time.
