Do I have Herpes?
Hi i am 17 years old and the only thing sexually that i have ever done was masturbate and no for the past week i have been noticing brown bumps located on the shaft, scrotum, above my crack of the buttocks, and the side of my left testicle. These are itchy and sometimes painful when i scratch. Please help me because i am very confused because everyone is saying you can't get genital herpes from masturbation but it is the only thing i have done.
the liklihood is that you have some other process going on and you odo need to get checked out to make sure. You could have a fungal infection or some other skin rash so rather than "freak out" - get diagnosed. When you see the doctor your visit will be confidential - so you can be clear about your sexual history, that you masterbate, etc. No one will make a judgement - it will just help to clarify to the doctor what may be going on. Don't wait - get checked.
