Q: How can I be sure if it is genital herpes?

I am 54 and never had genital herpes.  I did have genital warts 30 years ago.  I have been married for 20 years but we have not hade sex in a year.  I recently broke out with what I think looks like herpes.   But because of my back ground I can't believe it could be.  Is it possible?  I tried using Domeboro for this.  Should I be?

Thanks,

Karen

The only way you'll know is to go to the Dr. , from things that I've learned, the herpies virus can lay dorment for many years and all of a sudden (sometimes due to high stress levels, low immune system) the virus can suface.  Just get to a Dr. get tested, maybe its warts like you said, but really hun, its better to be safe.  Even if its to protect you husband...
