I am so sorry, I know exactly how you feel. My former husband infected me and our baby thirteen years ago. Educating and empowering yourself with information about the disease will help ease the fear. The state and strength of your marriage will either help, or not. Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself. It took me a long time to get to that point due the circumstances that led to my/our infection. The anger nearly killed me. (and him) Thankfully, I have a very understanding family and MD to talk to. Until you fully come to terms with it, expect an emotional rollercoaster. Please get all of the help you need to take care of yourself emotionally and physically.

Hey there

Also to say dont panic!!!

Herpes is a manageable thing....also why did you go get tested???

Did you get an outbreak?

As you know there are many people who "have" herpes but dont actually get outbreaks, if you are one of those consider yourself lucky!!!

I know also from experiences....herpes is so connected to negative thought in some way around sex, and our bodies, so just focus on sending so much light and positive thought to yourself, your body, your genitals....you CAN live with this and it wont destroy your life...eat well, get lots of exersise, laugh a lot, enjoy life....

If you get outbreaks....i found for me, homeopathic remedies worked for me best, i hardly ever get outbreaks, as i dont really like to take hardcore antiviral meds....but you CAN bring outbreaks under control...

The main thing is, focus on HEALTH....positive thoughts....yes, get all the info...but dont buy into the negativity, remember thats how this virus flourishes....

Good luck!!!

;-)
