Which is more accurate in diagnosing HSV-2, viral culture or blood test? If blood test, which specific one?

Blood test IgG and IgM is a good test. Most convenient. The IgM tells you if it is an initial infection- which would claim you got it from your partner. The IgG tells you if it was a previous infection, that you had it a while now.
Viral culture is also a good one but it would require the excision of a lesion for testing.
