get cold sores occasionally. A few a year. If I currently have no active cold sores, and I give oral sex to my boyfriend, could he contract the disease on his gentials. Even when I do not have an outbreak? I am also currently on perscription medication, Valtrex, to help with my cold sores. I only get them when I'm stressed out. But I don't want to give my boyfriend it. Thanks.
