okay. you can get hsv1 or hsv2 if you have sexual intercourse or oral sex. you can get it through oral sex too because your bodily fluids contain the hsv1 and hsv2 virus. hsv1 is not as bad as hsv2 but its still contiagous. if you decide to have sex wear a condom or will get the virus. once you got the virus it stays in your body forever you cant get rid of it. but to stop or reduce irratation apply ice to sore wash sore everyday. try not to itch sores plus you can use medcine prescrbed by a docter. bolmex also works. hope i helped:)
