I have recently have been diagnosed with gential herpes. I was wondering if you could please clear up some questions for me? I'm curious on the different ways I can pass it to others. I'm on the suppresion theorpy taking a pill everyday. I've only had one outbreak. If I have sex with a guy with a condom what are the chances of him getting it? If a guy eats me out, can he get it at all? If a guy fingers me, can he get it on his finger?....all these questions applied when I do not have an outbreak.
I know you asked this a long time ago, and I wonder if you have an update for us on how you're doing? I know it can be confusing to figure out a way forward after being diagnosed with genital herpes. You can pass it on to others through skin-to-skin contact--particularly the genitals and the mouth. You'll need to be up front with your sexual partners and always use condoms, even if you don't think you're having an outbreak. I do hope you are well!
