Q: I even made him wear a condom.

I have always had protected sex except when I was with my childrens father.I have been dating this guy for the past 4 months and we had sex. I made him wear a condom,like I have done in the past. I believe in safe sex. This guy that I have been dating just told me that he has gential herpes.I am so scared. I was told that you can still get herpes even if he wore a condom.My boyfriend told me that I should not worry and I don't have to get tested. I have not had any signs yet but I am going to get checked out anyways.When should I get tested right away or wait and see what happens?

you may not need to get checked but for peace of mind it might be a good idea. i would if i were in your position
