Q: Is it possible to spread HSV-1 to the genitals of someone who has it orally already?

Both my girlfriend and I have HSV-1 orally. We have never had any genital symptoms. We both recently tested negative for HSV-2. I was wondering if we can spread HSV-1 to each other's genitals through oral sex. I would think the answer is "no" since we both have HSV-1 antibodies already. Am I correct in this? Thanks

I don't think, I KNOW the answer is yes. Besides, why would you ever risk it?
