Andy, this story sounds farfetched. Did the stripper pass the vodka or did you pay the stripper for private time and kissed her? HSV-1 can live briefly remain active on an object (not for long). It transfers through fluids. If you are frequently going to strip bars then, you are on your way to risky behavior. The more risky behavior you engage in, it's only a matter of time before you will get a STD. If you have a spouse and you infect her, you will have brought pain to her life. You will most likely cry like a baby that you don't want to loose her and how could you have done such a self centered thing. It will be all about you feeling sorry about you-- not about focusing on being a better person. Is this how you want to live your life? Need to deal with the sex addiction.

The story is true believe it or not. Trust me i learn my lesson. First time ever kiss and it will be the last. Im scared to death for passing anything to my girlfriend. Thats why i'm writing this question. It's only been 3 days since it happen and no breakout. Cross my finger. I don't want to go to this kind of stress not knowing if you catch anything or not.

Good boy! I am telling you strippers, prostitutes, internet porno...can not and will not lead to a happy life and a good relationship. In addition to infecting a partner, that life is expensive and very diffficult to treat.

It will take up to a few weeks to know if the virus settled in your upper spine-- that causes the shedding and outbreaks.
