Have you told her that you have herpes?  If you haven't, you need to disclose it. From what you describe, you have HSV-1 in the genitals. If you give her oral sex and you do not have it in the mouth, it should be okay. But how long will that last? Even if you don't have sores, you can transfer the virus.   From this website (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)   http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/STDFact-herpes.htm HSV-1 and HSV-2 can be found in and released from the sores that the viruses cause, but they also are released between outbreaks from skin that does not appear to have a sore. Generally, a person can only get HSV-2 infection during sexual contact with someone who has a genital HSV-2 infection. Transmission can occur from an infected partner who does not have a sore.
