Q: Can I still receive oral sex if I have gential herpes, but no outbreak at the time??

I am 28yr old single female, I have just been dx with GH in February of this year. I had an outbreak after I had sex with my ex. He didn't know he had it and thought maybe i gave it to him. ( That is y he is my ex) I am cured and haven't had an outbreak since. I have accepted the fact that I have this life long STD but I don't know how I should go about the dating life. I am currently talking to a nice guy but I want to break away from it because i don't know how i should tell him. I don't like rejections and this would be my first time telling anyone about it. If anyone can please respond on how I can let him know and not freak him out that would be great.

Please let me know.

Also Can i receive oral sex when i don't have a outbreak? Will he still get it around his mouth?

Thanks
