Topics:Genital HerpesOral SexDating With HerpesSafe Sex

I have just started dating a man who has been very open and honest about having genital herpes, I am fine with this but I would like some more information so that when it comes to the time we think about having sex, I have some knowledge about can and can not be done.

1 - Can I give oral sex (by using my hand/mouth) without a condom and catch the virus?

2 - Can I get the virus if he gives me oral sex (by using hand/mouth), but he does not have cold sores?

3 - If I get sperm on or near my underwear/skin can I catch the virus?

Condoms will be used when it comes to full sexual intercourse.

Thank you.
