I'm going to see my boyfriend for xmas,he does not have herpes but i do.I'm scared of passing it to him..and also the last time i have intercourse(long time ago), i felt it burns like hell because of the herpes outbreak, and i did not know i had it by that time(i thougth it was just a yeast infection)..the thing is that i know my boyfriend loves me and accept me with this issue, but I do not want him to get it and i don't feel 100% outbreak free yet, don't know why.

I really miss having a normal sexual life..but know i do not know if the outbreak is gone or what?I'm in the treatment for almost two months now and don't have any bumps or anything but it still looks little bit red...I'm so insecure, know i don't know what is normal or not normal anymore,I need help!!! please!!!..i want to be happy again and make my wonderfull boyfriend happy too.

HSV-2, like HSV-1 (the cold sore virus), is highly contagious. This is why sex, etc., before marriage does not make any sense. See HSV-2, HSV-1, and cold sores KissRisk.com for more info.
