Hi Jack, my name is Camilo and if you have read any other of my answer replies then you know that I am monitoring the new Q&A section. As always, I like to remind members that I am not a healthcare practitioner and thus cannot offer you any professional advice that should not be first consulted with a physician before adopting into practice. In reference to your question, as you may have heard numerous times, the only way to truly prevent transmission of gental herpes is through abstinence of sex. However, if this is not possible then I suggest that you consult the following article written by Dr. Grayson--Transmitting Herpes: How to Protect the Ones You Love. I hope you found this helpful and please don't hesitate to continue posting with any other questions you may have.

Best of Luck,

CAM
