Q: Is it possible I contracted herpes?

Friday I met a sex worker, she wouldnt even touch me without a condom on. I had spoke with her before and asked her if she been tested yada yada, or course she said yes. She put the condom on me and I went inside her 2 times. attempting not to touch my parts off hers, there may have been a slight touching.

After that I just pulled out and said, no thanks I can't do this. I took the condom off and rinsed really quick in the sink, then came home and showered.

Now monday I went for a 3 mile run and just felt tired as hell, i couldn't eat, and I threw up what I ate. Very low grade fever 98.1 im usually a 97.2. Today is tuesday, no signs of any lesions or puss filled sacks. Nothing, just my mind playing tricks on me.

But isn't the stomach flu a pre emptive sign of genital herpes? How long will have I have to wait to know for sure? a week? I would not even think It possible for me to get herpes until I got sick yesterday. Especially since I was so careful. I even called the girl to ask her again if she was for sure shes clean. I can't wait 20 days! don't most people break out in like 5 days?

YOU USED A CONDOM SHE WASNT BROKE OUT PROBALLY NOT PARANOID, LOL BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE. GO TO THE DOCTOR AND GET TESTED, STOP WORRYING

i'd say you're far to paranoid....

if you're so worried go a doctor or your local GUM clinic where they can test you for herpes and any other SDI you can think of.

i noticed you said u think herpes takes 5 days to break out..? nonsense.

herpes can sometimes break out in the first 5 days of contracting it, but in other cases you could carry the infection with no symptoms for months before even the smallest thing will happen to you

i never got tested when i started having sex with my first boyfriend who was also a virgin because i thought i would be o.k. i then split with him and had another sexual partner for a couple of months before i found my boyfriend that im with at the moment. 6 months into the relationship and now i get herpes. he got tested when we first met before we had had sex and got the all clear whereas i never got tested. so it has taken this long for any syptoms to occur on me

my advice, get tested regularly for a while incase you suddenly break out. its not something you want to risk getting.
