I have Herpes Encephelomyopathy and shingles. I am on Valtrex now and feel better but it is a day-to-day stuggle.
Now I need a root canal or my tooth extracted. My Doctor wanted me to get down to a level of 500 mg a day of Valtrex before I had the surgery but I cant reduce it that fast and I need to tooth taken care of now.
Do people have oral surgery or dentistry done while on Valtrex????
