Dear Nobody, I'm not sure I like your screen name, you're not nobody, you're Somebody! Telling a new boyfriend/partner that you have herpes is never going to be easy. However, Dr. Charlotte Grayson wrote an excellent SharePost entitled, "How to tell Your Partner." In the post she gives four wise, but simple points about how to tell someone that you have herpes. You stated that your husband just separated, and I am wondering if perhaps you have some issues/feelings that you need to work through before you can move on to a new partner. You might really benefit from just a few sessions with a therapist where you can talk through these issues, and/or even practice talking to a new partner about your herpes!  You can find some referrals for therapists at the Psychology Today website.   Best Wishes, Dr. Jennifer Fee www.drjenniferfee.com www.thestressmasters.com
