Q: If a woman test positive for HSV-2 and no outbreak and is recieving oral sex can it be transmitted?

If a woman test positive for HSV-2 and has no outbreak and is recieving oral sex can it be transmitted to the person performing?

I recently had sex with a woman who tested positive for HSV-2, however the sex was protected sex (I wore a condom).  Here's where it get confusing, I was drunk and after penetrating her for awhile I was losing the erection and took the condom off.  I then proceeded and tried to penetrate but could not(erection was lost).  There was genital to genital contact but no penetration, what are the chances of contracting the virus and should i be tested?

She can pass HSV2 to you through oral sex - mucosal tissue to mucosal tissue -even if she had no visible outbreak.
